Frescobaldi Pomino Bianco 2019, Toscana: ABV – 12.5%

Taste:  Bright and lively in color, Pomino Bianco 2019 offers splendid floral notes blended harmoniously with dominant fruity scents: pear and peach above all, but also grapefruit and bergamot. On the palate, softness and freshness blend harmoniously. A savory wine that fills the palate with fruity and slightly toasted notes and that leaves in the gustatory memory a pleasantness and complexity of aromas worthy of a white wine whose fame dates back to past centuries. 65

Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay 2020, California: ABV – 14.2%

Taste: This vintage is classic Les Pierres. In your glass, the wine is a beautiful, pale straw color with tinges of green that catch the light. Rich aromatic notes of lime zest, wet stone, lemon meringue pie, citrus blossom and bright, lemon curd greet your senses as you swirl to open up the aromas. A beautifully balanced mouthfeel combines with Sonoma-Cutrer’s signature citrus-laced acidity that showcases nice oak integration and flavors of melon, lime, mineral, roasted nuts, and spice. On the palate this is an elegant, light creamy wine that dissolves to a long, juicy, lingering spice finish. 95

Taste: A medium style of Riesling, this wine is perfect for pairing with spicy foods. Perfumed florals and tropical fruits lead on the nose with apple and lime on the palate. 50

Albert Bichot Bourgogne Vieilles Vignes de Chardonnay 2020, France: ABV – 13%

Taste: The predominant white flower and citrus nose leads to notes of honey and dried fruit. The palate is very well balanced, skillfully blending vivacity and roundness. This Bourgogne Chardonnay "Vielles Vignes" with the charm of its aromatic palate, makes it a fine match for seafood, fish cooked in sauce, or simply prepared white meats. 70

The wine’s complexity is expressed in successive notes such as those of vine peach and white fruit. A perfect balance between freshness and delicacy with fruity flavors very present on the finish. 95

 

Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Champagne, France: ABV – 12.5%  

Taste: Balancing tension with roundness, the enveloping structure is highlighted by fresh aromas of ripe citrus and tropical fruit. With a long and delicate finale. 250

 

Dom Perignon Champagne 2004, France: ABV – 12.5%

Taste: On the nose, aromas of almond and powdered cocoa develop gradually into white fruit with hints of dried flowers. Classic toasted notes give a rounded finish and denote a fully realized maturity.

On the palate, the wine instantly traces an astoundingly fine line between density and weightlessness. Its precision is extreme, tactile, dark and chiselled. The full taste lingers with the utmost elegance on a sappy, spicy note. 350

Buena Vista Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2018, California: ABV – 15% 

Taste: An enticing bouquet of blackberry and plum with notes of bay leaf spring from the glass. This is a full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with blended flavors of blueberry, black currant and hints of cedar spice. Smooth and structured tannins with balanced acidity lead to a long and juicy finish. 125

 

Hanna Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley 2020, California: ABV – 14.5%

Taste: This 2018 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon pours an opaque aubergine. Classic and delightfully intense cherry juice concentrate aromas are complemented by star anise, nutmeg, vanilla bean and pomegranate notes. Ensuing flavors are of Bing cherry, Danish Zoute drops and Guatemalan coffee. Texturally it is taut, vibrant with a buoyancy that glissades across the palate with only a youthful bounce of fine tannin. 105

Bonterra Estate Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2021, California: ABV – 13.6% 

Taste: The brilliant, deep garnet red color with violet hues shines in the glass. Black cherry and black currant fruits fill the mouth with subtle notes of leather, tobacco and pencil shaving following. A generous, rich mouthfeel is surrounding the medium-bodied wine with structure and layers of ripe tannins. 75

Los Vascos Cromas Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 Rapel Valley, Chile ABV: 14.5%

A structured and balanced wine, a good representative of a Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon.

Ruby colored with garnet trim. The nose is intense, with red fruits such as cherries and plums, accompanied by cassis. Along with these fruits appear spicy notes of clove and cinnamon complemented by a background of well-integrated wood and graphite notes. The palate is intense, with a pleasant volume and acidity. It has characterful but elegant tannins that give it presence and vitality. 65

 

La Mozza Cabernet Sauvignon I Perazzi 2020 Tuscany, Italy ABV: 13.5%

The La Mozza Cabernet I Perazzi is a truly Tuscan Cabernet, in which the great Bordeaux variety is interpreted with Maremma style: maximum ripeness and highest quality. Intense fruit, notes of ripe blueberry and wild black berries, with hints of spices that express the beauty of Cabernet without ever showing any of the varietal's herbaceousness or greenpepper qualities. 58

Textbook Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 Central Coast, California ABV: 13.9%

The results are evident in the glass. Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon can be mesmerizing, with rich aromas and flavors of blackberry, cassis, black cherry, graphite, toasty oak, vanilla and spice. The structure, balance and unbridled opulence of these wines impress from first sip to last. 85

 

Cakebread Cellars Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 Napa Valley, California ABV: 14.4%

This wine reveals a fragrant, complex bouquet of ripe blackberry and boysenberry complemented by notes of dark chocolate and toasty oak. Rich and smooth on the palate, the sumptuous dark fruit is balanced by fresh acidity and lush tannins with a lingering, elegant finish and a hint of minerality. 200

Famille Perrin Vinsobres Les Cornuds 2021 Rhone, France ABV: 14.5%

Superb deep ruby-red colour. Powerful and complex, the nose shows notes of spices, black fruit, liquorice and a hint of fennel. Elegant and perfectly balanced by a beautiful freshness, the mouth offers a fully and silky texture with aromas of spices, pepper and cloves. 60

E. Guigal Cotes du Rhone Rouge 2020 Rhone, France ABV: 15%

Deep and dark red. On the nose intensely aromatic, with black fruits and spices. The palate is full, round and sexy. Round and smooth tannins present through the full bodied, ample wine. Overall a complete wine, with a long finish, with elegance and finesse accompanying the abundance of fruit and well-balanced tannins. 60

M. Chapoutier Cotes du Rhone Belleruche Rouge 2021 Rhone, France ABV: 14.5%

An intense wine with blackcurrant and raspberry notes complemented by notes of white pepper. Powerful and fruity on the palate with lovely roasted notes, and silky, delicate tannins. 56

Marques de Riscal Rioja Reserva 2019 Tempranillo Rioja, Spain ABV: 14.5%

ntense black-cherry colour with good depth of colour and hardly any signs of evolution. Very expressive aromas on the nose with notes of liquorice, cinnamon and black pepper, with just a subtle hint of the long cask-ageing, thanks to its great complexity and ripe, concentrated fruit. Fresh and easy to drink on the palate, good backbone and lovely, polished tannins. The long, persistent finish leaves gentle balsamic reminders of the finest quality. This wine goes well with ham, mild cheeses, casseroles which are not highly spiced, bean and pulse dishes, poultry, red meat, grills and roasts. 75

Catena Malbec 2021 Mendoza, Argentina ABV: 13.6%

Catena Malbec presents a deep violet color with purple reflections. This microclimate blend of four unique vineyards offers intense aromas, soft texture, and concentrated flavor. Deep aromas of ripe red and dark fruits are joined by delicate violet and lavender notes, with traces of vanilla and mocha. A rich, concentrated mouthfeel is highlighted by flavors of blueberries and blackberries with a touch of leather and cinnamon. The wine has well-integrated tannins, bright acidity, and a flinty minerality that provides exceptional length to the finish. 70

Apostate Zinfandel 2021, California: ABV – 13.5% 

Taste: Made in a nouveau style, this Zinfandel from Sonoma's Dry Creek Valley is deliciously ripe and fruity with notes of strawberry, cherry, and sweet vanilla bean. Soft tannins. 80

Raymond Napa Valley Red Wine Reserve 2018, California: ABV – 15% 

Taste: Pouring a glass uncovers a deep ruby core with a purple kiss at the rim. Aromas are led by wild strawberries with hints of lavender and tobacco wrapped in lilac and cassis. The mouthfeel is rich and layered, with plenty of red fruit, joyful acidity, and silky tannins that lead into a long finish. A beautiful ensemble with power and elegance. 95 

 

Ridge Three Valleys Red Wine 2020, California: ABV – 14.4% 

Taste: Deep garnet in color with rich raspberry, fig, exotic clove spice, notes of fresh mint. Layered briary fruit with cocoa and a slight crushed granite minerality. Supple tannins and a long, lingerish finish. 80 

 

Cooper & Thief Red Blend 2019, California: ABV – 16% 

Taste: Cooper & Thief Bourbon barrel-aged Red Blend offers a swirl of warm toasty vanilla notes, with dark fruit and a gentle hint of classic bourbon spice. Blackberry and jammy dark currants lead to a rich finish, with the elegance of a fine sipping bourbon. 85

Bink Little Red, Red Wine 2021 McLaren, Australia ABV: 11.2%

The slight hazy color of cranberry juice, there's a whizbang pop of strawberries and cream, with a slightly volatile lift and a flower stem underbelly. There's a punch of tangy acidity on the featherlight palate, and a tug of raw, skinsy tannins. With feet firmly in the natural camp, this is a little funky and a lot easy to glug. 85

Campo al Mare Bolgheri DOC Rosso 2021, Italy: ABV – 15.5% 

Taste: Bright and vibrant purple red, the tasting of the 2021 vintage reveals a large bouquet of aromas and flavors of red fruit, fresh herbs, elegant note of milk-chocolate and vanilla. A crunchy mouth-feel with silky tannins on the palate and olfactory sensations again on the finish. 80

Rocca delle Macie Chianti Classico DOCG 2022 Tuscany, Italy ABV: 13.5%

Bright ruby red Intense and persistent with hints of wild berries Savory and full-bodied with rich, well structured berry fruit flavors. 65

Ruffino Riserva Ducale Chianti Classico 2020 Tuscany, Italy ABV: 14%

Ruffino Ducale Chianti Classico Riserva is a ruby red color. The bouquet is elegant, with violets, cherries, wild berries and plums. Hints of spices like tobacco, clove and eucalyptus. Riserva Ducale is balanced with delicate tannins. The vibrant acidity, typical of Sangiovese grapes, distinguishes this wine. An enduring finish and a bold structure complete the tasting profile. 90

Banfi Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2019 Tuscany, Italy ABV: 13%

Deep ruby-red with rich notes of cherries, plums and iris. Supple tannins, good acidity and a lingering finish. Perfect with flavorful roasts, pastas and cheeses. 65

Lamole di Lamole Maggiolo Chianti Classico 2021 Tuscany, Italy ABV: 12.5%

The winemakers at Lamole di Lamole have noted that the 2021 Lamole di Lamole Chianti Classico Maggiolo has a bright ruby red color, a floral bouquet of cyclamens and violets, and fruity notes of mulberries, blackberries, and blueberries. The wine is also described as having hints of sweet spices and cacao. 70

Mazzei Castello di Fonterutoli Poggio alla Badiola Toscana IGT 2021 Tuscany, Italy ABV: 13.5%

Mazzei Poggio Badiola 2019 is a concentrated red wine with aromas of cherry, plum, rose and Mediterranean scrub. The palate is fresh, velvety and supple. A juicy wine with smooth tannins and a tasty fruity finish. 50

Michele Chiarlo Il Principe Nebbiolo 2022 Piedmont, Italy ABV: 14%

A brilliant garnet red, this wine has notes of violet, red fruits, plums, and fine spices. It is intense yet harmonious with good structure and complexity. The tannins are fine, and the finish is round and long. 70

Michele Chiarlo Le Orme Barbera d’Asti 2021 Piedmont, Italy ABV: 14%

Michele Chiarlo Le Orme Barbera d'Asti is ruby red with violet hues. This elegant and intense wine offers notes of red cherry and red currants. A harmonious and well-structured wine with a beautiful savory finish. 50

Bright hints of redcurrants, plums, raspberries, sour cherries balanced by spicy notes reminiscent of pepper and cinnamon. On the palate it is approachable, fresh and pleasant, thanks to good balance between acidity, savory notes and richness of flavor. It is excellent with strong flavored pasta dishes, grilled, roast and stewed meat and medium matured cheese. 56

Mazzei Zisola Noto Rosso 2020 Sicily, Italy ABV: 12.5%

Sumptuous aromas of forest fruits, orange peel and mulberry on the nose with excellent depth and concentration. This full bodied wine enjoys the trademark Mazzei smoothness, elegance and a judicious use of oak. Perfect match for spicy fish soups, savory pasta and rice dishes, grilled red meats and vegetables. 85

Chateau Ste Michelle Indian Wells Merlot 2020, Washington: ABV – 14.5%

Taste: Specially selected and carefully aged, this premier merlot captures the intense energy of arid vineyards resulting in velvety blackberry and vanilla flavors. 54

 

Cotarella Sodale Merlot 2019, Italy: ABV – 14.1%

Taste: Hand harvested during the first half of September. Grapes macerated on the skins for 12 days with frequent delicate punch-downs. Alcoholic fermentation conducted in stainless steel and malolactic is performed in barrel. 9 months in new & neutral barriques of varying size. Wine ages an additional 12 months in bottle before release. 65

 

Duckhorn Decoy Merlot 2021, California: ABV – 14.1%

Taste: Beautifully lush and expressive, this alluring Merlot draws you in with aromas of black currant, black cherry, boysenberry and sweet baking spices. On the palate, it is plush and polished, with silky tannins carrying the luxurious dark berry, creamy mocha and bittersweet chocolate flavors to a long, supple finish. 79
